Who are we?

We are a friendly, personable, empathetic group of property enthusiasts that enjoy helping people every day. Our Brookings team have been working with each other for many years, the majority of us were born in the area and still call it home. Our estate agency careers all started in Dagenham and the surrounding areas. During the early to mid 2000’s Michael, Emma and Amy all worked together in Haart Estate Agents (then Spicer McColl) which was a boom time for the property industry. Working in such a vibrant market we gained a fantastic experience which were the foundations for Michael starting a new, independent agency in 2008 which culminated in Brookings of today.

Emma Wallington, our branch manager has worked every role in estate agency from administrator, sales manager to running the property management team and now successfully specialising in helping people sell. We are pleased to say many of our landlords have been with us since the early days of this journey which we wholeheartedly appreciate and take great pride in. Selling is a journey. From the moment you start thinking about selling through to the day you hand over your keys, it isn’t only a transaction it can be an emotional experience. We specialise in helping first time sellers understand the selling process and provide the extra care required to help you throughout your moving journey.



Emma Wallington - Branch Manager

Emma heads up our team as branch manager, looking after our sellers and landlords from assessing the value of your home, marketing of your property, to overseeing a successful conclusion in the sale/ let of your home. Emma was born and bred in Dagenham and has been working in Estate Agency in the area for over 18 years. In addition to running our busy office, Emma is a mum of two to Kye and Peyton, a keen advocate for yoga and thrives on being hands on both professionally and personally. She is an oracle on all the latest developments in our area. Coupling her unique character and true caring nature, her clients and team love working with her.

Ryan Williams - Property Consultant

Ryan is a pleasure to work with and loves getting to know you. Interested in everything property, Ryan has excelled since joining Brookings in 2016 as an apprentice negotiator. A true property professional, he values the importance of keeping up to date with changes in legislation for his landlords. An avid West Ham fan and playing himself as a goalkeeper, sport is a keen interest of his. Ryan really cares about his clients and is always looking to add value where he can which is why he is also currently studying for his National Association of Estate Agents Technical Award.

Ashley Turner - Sales co-ordinator

With a wealth of experience in property spanning over a fifteen year career Ashley looks after our buyers and sellers keeping them up to date throughout their journey in her role as sales co-ordinator. Since the start of her career Ashley has always had a passion for property and helping people understand the process. Ashley took a career break to nurture her other passion - her family in 2020. With two children Jacob and Jessica, her time was spent home schooling, den building and all the other joys that come with being a mum. Ashley is excited to be back in Estate Agency and a part of our team, and her clients love the regular feedback and guidance she provides.

Amy Kennett - Head of Property Management

It is a pleasure working with Amy. Her calm nature whilst being a natural problem solver ensures she is the perfect fit for her role as Head of Property Management at Brookings. As a fabulous Mum to daughter Jessica, Amy was born in Dagenham and still lives in the area today. The skills obtained over her estate agency career encompasses her great ability to negotiate tenancy renewals and oversee the property management department, alongside her supportive team, Amy is on hand to answer any questions from our landlords keeping them and us compliant.

Falon Nicholls - Property Manager

Falon has been working in property management since 2015. Never afraid to grab her car keys to go and address a property issues Falon adopts a hands-on approach to ‘getting the job done’. Her landlords love her friendly approach. You will never see her without a smile on her face and we all know how infectious a smile can be! Having been a private tenant and now a homeowner Falon understands the importance of her role which makes her a perfect advocate for her seat in our property management team.

Chloe Prue - Property Manager

At the heart of every property management department, you need a rock. Chloe with her formidable approach ensures that any property maintenance issues are dealt with effectively and in a timely manner. Chloe originally from Dagenham attended Parsloes Primary School and Sydney Russell comprehensive school so knows the area well. If she isn’t dealing with a maintenance issue, you can guarantee she is running around after her son Ronnie who is her pride and joy. Being well connected ensures the management of our properties are looked after by her band of trusted contractors.
