Brookings are excited to announce that we are looking to expand our team! Based in Dagenham this is a fantastic opportunity for a negotiator to join our ever growing organisation.

The team currently offers assistance to sales and lettings clients throughout a network across Barking and Dagenham, Newham and Havering. As a dual abled negotiator you will be targeted to negotiate lets and sales of residential property. It will be expected that you will ensure that you deal with all clients in a professional manner and to make sure that they receive an excellent service so that they return to Brookings time and time again.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 12 months’ experience and a full driving licence and own vehicle is imperative. 

Salary OTE 

Roles & Responsibilities: Sales and Lettings Negotiator

Main Purpose of role: Negotiation of securing a sale or let of a residential property in sufficient quantity to meet agreed performance targets, whilst advancing the service standards of the Company and abiding by company policy and statutory legislation.

Reporting to: Manager


Key Responsibilities 

  •   Generating a targeted number of viewings per week resulting in a targeted number of sales per week

  •   Selling all company services strong and ethically

  •   Selling our company services to generate new and repeat business

  •   Registering new applicants

  •   Booking viewings

  •   Carrying out viewings

  •   Carrying out landlord marketing updates as directed

  •   Carrying out vendor marketing updates as directed

  •   Negotiating offers under the direction of the Manager

  •   Progressing; keeping all parties well informed

  •   Applying for tenant references and assisting progress to conclusion

  •   Gaining market appraisals and looking after clients to actively promote them using our services

  •   Touting and cavassing

  •   Dealing with customer enquiries

  •   Keeping records of all activity (Jupix)


Requirements and Skills

  •   Preferably some work experience in a sales environment

  •   Educated to GCSE level as a minimum

  •   Customer service orientated

  •   Results/goals orientated

  •   Financially driven with a motive to earn

  •   Full driving licence

  •   Smart and well presented

  •   Good communication skills

  •   Natural sales ability
